2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the Coliseum. And this year’s Homecoming celebration is just one month following the 100-year anniversary of the first football game played at the Coli – a classic between USC and Pomona Pitzer. (We won, 23-7.)

As part of this year’s Homecoming on Nov. 4, Trojan Marching Band tuba and drumline alums will perform at halftime in what could be our farewell to the Pac-12 performance against the University of Washington. We’re also commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Song Team.

   Instruments:  The TMB will provide instruments for those who need them. Be sure to complete the registration form early so we have enough to go around.

   Rehearsals:  The halftime show will be charted and all participants need to attend rehearsals and be prepared to march. Or dog it. But at least be in the right place at the right time.

   Reception:  Once again, the Trojan Marching Band Alumni Association is arranging a reception for all TMB alums following the Friday rehearsal. Food, drinks, music and fun in the Arthur C. Bartner Band Pavilion.

   Hotel:  We’ve reserved a block of rooms at a discount rate at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, 711 South Hope St. Rates start at $219/night. Space is limited. You must reserve by Oct. 13. You may cancel up to 72 hours before your reservation without charge.

As always, all TMB alums are invited to attend the Friday night reception and participate in the postgame show and give the Huskies a performance they’ll never forget… at least until we play them again in the B1G! Stay tuned for more details and Fight On!
