Although USC has postponed its annual philanthropic Day of SCervice, that hasn’t stopped Trojan Marching Band alumni from giving back to our local communities, especially in this time of dire need.
To that end, the Trojan Marching Band Alumni Association has kicked off an all-inclusive, nationwide TMB Alumni Blood Drive, open to all Spirit of Troy alums.
Participating is easy: Alums are asked to simply donate a pint of blood at the facility of their choice between April 1 and June 4. (For those of you who like details, there are five different ways to donate, including: whole blood, double red, single red with plasma, platelets and straight plasma.)
To add a bit of TMB spirit to this, we’re having a competition by band section. Everyone who participates will receive recognition, and the winning section will get some cool TMBAA swag.
Participating alums can scan a copy of a confirmation or receipt (be sure to redact any personal information) and send it to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The e-mail should include your name, years marched with the TMB, and your section.
