As many as 1,000 alums from The Spirit of Troy are expected to participate in the all-TMB alumni Homecoming reception and halftime performance for the Nov. 15 football game against Iowa.
The entire Spirit of Troy – including Musicians, Yell Leaders, Spirit, Song, Twirlers, Silks, Flags and Prop Crew – only gets reunited every five years, making this is a great opportunity to reconnect.
We’re still working out details, but here’s what you need to do now:
When:
- Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-15. Homecoming vs. Iowa. Kickoff scheduled for noon or 12:30 p.m.
What’s happening:
- Friday: Mandatory music and marching rehearsal. Alums will be marching a charted halftime show just like 2021! Followed by a reception and dinner sponsored by the Trojan Marching Band Alumni Association.
- Saturday: Rehearsal; March to Coliseum; Halftime and postgame performances.
Next:
- Get ready to come: Registration, ticket information and special hotel availability coming soon.
- Get ready to play: If you need to get an instrument, start now! Alums should plan to get their own instruments, especially smaller ones, to free up the TMB’s limited loaner inventory for those who can’t. Need a rental? Check out Music and Arts at https://www.musicarts.com/rental
- Get ready to spin: For everything you need to know about performance flags, poles, flag routine information, etc., go to https://tmbaa.org/homecoming-2025-silks-routine/
This promises to be a memorable weekend for alums, friends, families and fans of The Greatest Marching Band In The History Of The Universe. Mark your calendar now. Hoping to see you there!
Fight On!
