While the upcoming football season may be in doubt, support for the current Trojan Marching Band is not. At its annual meeting in May, the TMBAA board of directors unanimously approved $45,000 to help sustain traditions. The money will be equally divided into three areas: meals at band camp to keep stomachs full, travel for road trips, and for the second time, recognition awards distributed at the annual banquet. Total support for the TMB is now $60,000, about 70 percent of TMBAA’s first-year revenue.
